HOW WE SUPPORT

OUR ROLE

The Ben Franklin PTA is dedicated to supporting our Franklin Elementary. Our purpose is to coordinate volunteers, support programming, facilitate fun extras, and fill in the gap with funding. We fundraise to provide teacher appreciation and classroom grants. We also work to build a strong community among students, parents, faculty, and staff. Our goal is to make the school a place where students can reach their full potential and a place where parents feel connected to the Ben Franklin community.

The PTA Board meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at noon in the library. Our first meeting will be on Wednesday, September 11th.  We will have a table at Meet the Teacher on Monday, August 14th from 5 - 6:30pm to introduce ourselves. We will have sign-ups for Franklin Fathers, PTA, and more information about the year ahead!

Business Meeting

Our Team.

We have 33 parents serving on our Board this year in many different roles. These men and women give tirelessly of their time, energy, and talents. If you would like to be a part of the PTA Board next year, please indicate that on the Volunteer Interest Form  or feel free to reach out to our current president, Whitnee Harris.
