Friends of Franklin

One of the most beloved programs from the PTA is our Friends of Franklin.  The aim of Friends of Franklin is to match children in need at the school with willing volunteers who ensure that each child has Christmas gifts during the holiday season.  Each year, around 75 children from around 30 families are identified by the school guidance counselor, Mrs. Pando, and their teachers.  Each child in the family receives the same treatment, regardless of whether they are too old or too young to be at Franklin. The Friends of Franklin Committee works hard to anonymously connect and fill the needs for our own Franklin families.  We cannot do it without people in our community willing to help!
